Today I am one day late since yesterday was a long, fun-filled day at the Los Angeles Ukulele Festival. I won’t let the delay get to me and just picked up where I left off at “day 5” of The 21 Day Project 2024.
Today the Gorilla was randomly chosen for my inspiration. (See yesterday’s post for an example of how the animals or insects are chosen for the zoo.)
I decided I needed something with a stronger bass timber but the bass uke seemed too low. I opted for a Baritone ukulele instead.
I tried to incorporate some things I learned yesterday at the festival. Today’s dooodle is also 4 bars shorter than the previous ones. No rules. It just felt right. Sixteen more days to go.
Here’s the music and the demo follows.
